Art is for everyone.
I want people to realize that everybody can look at art and how enriching it is for your life. You don’t have to fear that you don’t “understand“ it because there is no right or wrong.
Art is first of all about what it makes you feel. It fosters empathy and can tell you something about yourself as well as the reality of the artist.
It is a deeper exploration of our world and its inhabitants, a confrontation with other individuals, cultures and societal dynamics and simultaneously a confrontation with yourself.
I am personally convinced that looking at art has an additive effect. With everything you see you transform your view on daily life. You sharpen your vision for details that you would otherwise maybe overlook – on an aesthetic level as well as on a societal.
